I received my B.Sc. in
Applied Mathematics from the National
University of Iran (Shahid Beheshti)
in 2003. My first master was done in
the same field in Sharif University of
Technology in 2006. After two years lecturing in
my hometown (Shomal University) I have
come to Barcelona where I have done my second Master
in Computer Vision. In September 2012
I have obtained my PhD degree from
UAB, Barcelona under supervision of
Dr. Angel D. Sappa. At the moment I
am a Research Assistant at
Imperial College London.
Having started my
research on Computer Graphics
(specifically Computer Aided Design),
I got interested on Computer Vision,
and the link between these two fields
as well. At the moment I am working on
3D Image Processing (should call it
Geometry Processing!), including 3D
Object Reconstruction/ Modeling,
Multi-view Object Registration, and
Implicit Shape/ Scene Representation.
